Budgeting Assumptions

We are in the middle of our 2024 budget process and are wondering what other government entities are planning for wage increases.

    Dominion is assuming 8% average across the board (no COLA split)

    As requested, our wage increases over the last two years have been as follows: 2022- 3% merit 2023-7% merit FYI- our merits are, with very few exceptions, treated as a COLA

    Would you all mind sharing what you did for the last 2 years? We gave a 7% COLA last year and a total of 15% for the last 2 years.

    Town of Hudson is doing 4% COLA (January) and 3% merit increase (September)

    Arvada is looking at 3.3% for a COLA and around 1.85% for steps.

    We have been given direction to budget a 5% merit increase for Garfield County. HR is going to propose breaking that down as Larimer County has done with 2% market and 3% merit.
