Basic Muni Accounting

I'm new in my position and haven't had an accounting course since college (and that was a while ago). I'd like a class or resources on basic accounting principles and procedures for municipalities. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

CGFOA offers a governmental accounting immersion series. Keep an eye out for the 2025 education schedule. We are getting started with planning that series.

Hi JD, Below is a link for the Rutgers University Certificate in Government Accounting program. I started in this program then matriculated into the Master's program.
