The Federal Reserve has been at the forefront of the current economic cycle and plays a prudent role in the monetary system of the United States. As we prepare to enter the next phase of the economic cycle, all eyes and ears will be on the Fed. This course will cover the history of the Federal Reserve, how the central banking system works, and how that relates to your local government’s investments. A national economic and interest rate update will be provided as well.

Presenter info: Dylana Gross is a Director of Investment Services for the COLOTRUST program where she is responsible for maintaining current relationships with participants as well as developing new relationships. She serves as a resource for governmental entities in Colorado as it pertains to education on local government investment pools, local and regional economies, and the national economic state. Dylana is an active member of Women in Public Finance, is on the board of Rocky Mountain Association of Finance Professionals, and she is a prestigious member of the Colorado Association of School Business Officials. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Colorado Mesa University and holds FINRA Series 65 license and is an Investment Advisor Representative.
