Excel 2.0 for Finance Professionals
Building on the previous Excel Essentials, this training includes additional excel tips: macros, shortcuts, pivot tables, fuzzy lookups, and more. With practical examples and interactive session, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Excel capabilities. This is the second session in a two-part Excel For Finance Professionals series presented by Plante Moran.

Josh Yde - Principal, Assurance - Josh is an audit principal with 12 years experience serving governmental entities of all types, including cities and counties, single and multi-jurisdictional courts, various authorities, and special-purpose entities. His experience also includes job organization and management, training and supervision of staff, communication with clients on emerging issues, creating various training programs, and assisting with governmental technical standards department.
Rich Berretta - Senior Manager, Assurance - Rich is an audit senior manager with over 17 years’ experience in public accounting. Rich has served a wide range of industries and clients across both private and public sectors. Rich contributes to the technical standards team and frequently presents in various trainings.
Kyle Sutton - Senior Manager, Forensic Accounting Team - Kyle is a senior manager on Plante Moran’s Forensic Accounting team with over 10 years of experience, including 2 years as an audit staff; in both roles, he has served a variety of governmental entities. He was a teaching assistant for a Microsoft Excel class for 3 years while attending college, the spirit of which he has carried on through countless Excel trainings during his professional career. In 2023, Kyle competed in the Financial Modeling World Cup’s Microsoft Excel World Championships. He placed 10th in the qualifying round (out of over 500 global participants) and placed in the top 64 during the overall tournament.
