The first in our 3-part series of introduction to government accounting classes, this session will review fund accounting, fund types, the chart of accounts, the differences between modified accrual and full accrual, basics of government-wide financial statements, and general disclosures required in government financial statements. This training is appropriate for anyone new to governmental accounting.
