Fourth in our series of governmental accounting classes, this class will focus on more complex governmental accounting topics. This will include reviewing challenges between modified vs. full accrual accounting in financial statements, common mistakes in government-wide financial statements and governmental fund statements, analyzing governmental financial statements, ACFR prep tips, and discussion of issues unique to Colorado governments. Attendees should have a solid understanding of basic governmental accounting and fund accounting concepts and terminology.
