Fourth in our series of governmental accounting classes, this class will focus on additional complex governmental accounting topics. This will include Single Audit basics, effective ACFR preparation and note disclosure with a focus on a walkthrough of a sample ACFR, and best practices for effective management of the audit process. Attendees should have a solid understanding of basic governmental accounting and fund accounting concepts and terminology or want to learn more about these topics.

Alexis Steger is a Manager in Government Advisory Services at Eide Bailly LLP with over 15 years of experience in government budgeting, accounting, and public sector financial management. Prior to joining Eide Bailly, Alexis served in City government as a Housing and Community Development Director and previously as a Senior Budget Analyst.
